MATAHARI GOES BEYOND USD 1 BILLION IN SALES AT 2007

Continuing to its progressive achievement in each quartersthroughout 2007, PT. Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (“Matahari”) closed the year with overall positive improvements both operationally and financially.

Total Consolidated Sales reached Rp 9.8 trillion which led the Company to become a US$ 1 Billion Company in 2007 and strongly supported by its core retail record achievements in fashion and food businesses.e BITDA also grew by 23.1% reaching Rp 923.6 billion, which also signifies further Improvements in the Company’s business profitability performance.

    Matahari devinitely showing their eager to be the best retail player in Indonesia. Their top management hear carefully from each its stake holders, including important suppliers.

    Store compliance increasing rapidly and become one of the best on the aspect.

    As local company (though it managed by foreigners), Matahari have promising future in Indonesian retail market. Lets see..
